Smetana Trio

The Smetana Trio perform three Czech composers: the ensemble’s namesake’s trio (1855, revised 1857), Dvořák’s pupil and son-in-law Josef Suk’s 1902 work inspired by Julius Zeyer’s epic poem Vyšehrad and Martinů’s 1951 Third Piano Trio.

As part of their Residency at the Wigmore Hall, they will also perform on 6 and 16 January 2025 at 7.30pm.
