Koudelka: Returning

A retrospective cross-section of the photographer’s work to mark his 80th birthday. This Prague exhibition displays 350 photographs selected from a large collection donated by Josef Koudelka and managed by the Museum of Decorative Arts. It includes examples from all of his well-known series: Beginnings, Experiments, Theatre, Gypsies, Invasion 68, Exiles and Panoramas.
Prague’s National Gallery (Veletrzni Palac) is exhibiting a series of 18 photographs taken by Koudelka in 2013 for the Vatican’s first presentation at the Venice Biennale on the theme of irreversible changes humans have made to landscapes.
The museum and gallery are closed on Mondays
