A London walking tour to see the work of emigré Czech architects. Following on from John East’s informative lecture in the Czech Embassy last year, we are delighted to have Ivan Margolius (architect and author) show us key buildings, with some of which he was involved.
Meet at 10:15 hrs in the Bollinger Gallery at the Victoria and Albert & Albert Museum. We will see Eva Jiřičná staircases followed by a unique architectural tour of Lords with lunch at their Tavern (13:30 to 14:30). After lunch we will see various Yorke Rosenberg and Mardall/YRM and Future Systems structures in the Waterloo, Canary Wharf and City areas. The tour will end at approximately 17:10 hrs near Chancery Lane, City of London.
Price £30, covering all entrance charges, but not any meals, coffee or extras. PRE-BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL.
