British Czech and Slovak Association

The British Czech and Slovak Association (BCSA) raises public awareness in Britain of Czech and Slovak life in all its aspects: history, arts, literature, economies, politics and sciences. Our Annual Dinner is on Friday 26 November. This is the main event in the our calendar and we look forward to seeing many members and supporters there. details>>

Our next "Get to know you" social will be on Wednesday 8 September at the Czech and Slovak National House, West Hampstead. This is an opportunity for anyone interested in the BCSA to meet, eat, drink, chat and get to know each other a little better.details>>.

Our 2010 Writing Competition is now closed and the winner will be announced at our Annual Dinner. details>>

The BCSA makes charitable donations to schools in the Czech Republic and Slovakia for the development of Emglish studies. details>>

    Membership of the BCSA

    People of all ages join the BCSA for a number of different reasons. Some are British students studying Slavonic affairs, some are former residents of Czechoslovakia who now live in the UK, some are British people who have developed an interest in the republics, some are citizens of the Czech and Slovak republics who are currently working or studying in the UK, and others have different reasons for joining.

    Whatever the reason is for your interest in the Czech and Slovak republics you will be welcome as a member of the BCSA. details>>
